55 convertible retro rod. Complete frame off rebuild to modern specs. Many subtle changes to the body and interior while maintaining the tuff, classic look and stance of the 55 Chevy. Powered by a 383 stroker, backed by a 700 R4 with O/D and a 2500 stall speed. The engine compartment is finished with billet polished aluminum components, including the Be Cool modular radiator system, front to back. Three shows this summer and three best of show awards. It also scored 994 out of 1000 points at the Classic Chevy Convention in July 09 in IL and won the award for best engine. And the top goes down!
