I have some tunning problems and air cleaner thoughts?
I have changed the jets and power valve in my holly 600 double pumper. 62 in front 70 in the back and a 6.5 valve.I seem to have a decent pull in 1 and 2 and getting to 3rd with the high way rear end it falls fast in the rpms. BUT if I put my Hilborn scoop with no air filter in it all goes away and it seems to act like its got no air or not enough. I can take it off the run like a champ with little tunning problems. So I'm thinking lack of air to fuel mixture and the engine is starving for air? any ideas.
