• History
This car was built in 1965 for the 1966 model year in Ontario, Canada using a Canadian GM “McKinnon” 283 engine and Stude 3-speed with overdrive manual transmission. It was purchased by an elderly couple in Albuquerque and driven until 1982 when the electric overdrive failed with 49,000 miles. It was purchased by another buyer and driven home to be stored again until 2000. After 18 years of storage, all it needed was gas and a battery to be started and driven again. The transmission and engine were replaced and the car restored in 2001. Every document, window sticker, registration and glove box literature, 2 owner manuals, and shop manual are included as well as every receipt and the rare, final letter from Studebaker stating the close of production.
Studebaker produced 8935 vehicles for 1966, the least units ever. Of these, 620 were V-8 Daytona’s, the top of the line. Studebaker produced its final car March 17, 1966.

I like the car. I have one myself that I am eventually going to restore it. I was wondering if you knew where I could get suspension parts for my car. I need to replace the ball joints, bushings, king pins, etc... b4 I can go any further with restoration. Thanks for your time. Have a good one.
